As Managing Director/Investments with PearlStreet Investment Management, Kevin Cusack leads a team of investment professionals.  Together, they offer clients Stifel’s full range of investment services, including stocks, bonds, and qualified retirement plans.  Prior to Stifel, Kevin spent 13 years at Oppenheimer & Co. and 15 years at McDonald Investments.

With more than 30 years of experience as a licensed securities professional, Kevin advises high net worth individuals, corporations, and foundations.  In addition, along with his team, he advises 401(k) retirement plans covering more than 40 corporations and totaling more than $3.6 billion in assets.  He was named to Barron’s list of “Top 1,000 Financial Advisors in the U.S.” for 2010, 2011, and 2013.*

Kevin is Chairman of the Michigan Family Forum.  He also serves on the board of directors for World magazine and is a trustee of the Grand Valley State University Foundation.

Kevin is a graduate of Grand Valley State University and has pursued graduate work at Calvin College.  He holds the Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 63 (Uniform Securities State Agent), and Series 65 (Investment Advisor Representative) licenses.  He and his wife have seven children.  They reside in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and are active at Ada Bible Church.  He enjoys Nordic skiing, cycling, and running.

As a Financial Advisor with PearlStreet Investment Management, Jim Shuster works toward providing financial and investment services to individual clients and plan participants.

Jim’s strengths include a focus on investment planning strategies and client service.  Prior to joining the team, he was with a national advisory company, where he focused on investment planning for individual clients.  Jim holds the following licenses: Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 66 (Investment Advisor Representative), and life and variable insurance licenses in 14 states.

Jim is a graduate of Purdue University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.  A native of Grand Rapids, he and his family currently reside in Cascade Township.

Drew has 22 years of investment industry experience.  He holds the following licenses: Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 63 (Uniform Securities State Agent), Series 65 (Investment Advisor Representative), and life and variable insurance licenses in the state of Michigan.

Drew is a graduate of Grand Valley State University and a member of the West Michigan Estate Planning Council.  He and his wife reside in Algoma Township with their three children.

June has worked in the securities industry for more than 28 years and holds the following licenses: Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 63 (Uniform Securities State Agent), and Series 65 (Investment Advisor Representative).   She earned an associate’s degree from Davenport College,

June and her husband have six children.  They reside in Hudsonville, Michigan, and are active at Fellowship Reformed Church.

As a Registered Client Service Associate with PearlStreet Investment Management, Emily Rowe works with Client Relationship Manager June Matthysse to support Managing Director/Investments Kevin Cusack and Senior Portfolio Analyst Drew Wilson.

A graduate of Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science in History, Emily also holds Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 9 & 10 (General Securities Sales Supervisor), and Series 66 (Investment Advisor Representative) licenses.  Emily is passionate about providing a high level of service to every client who calls or walks in the door.

She began her career in the financial services industry in December 2007.  Before joining Stifel, she worked for Oppenheimer & Co., Raymond James, and Edward Jones, giving her greater familiarity with boutique-sized firms.

Emily’s work ethic was established at an early age:  She grew up on a truck farm in Hamilton and routinely traveled to and from local farmers’ markets.  She now lives in Grand Rapids with her husband, their golden retriever, and tailless tabby cat.  They enjoy walking the dog in the evenings and going to the lakeshore during the summer months.
